Haze SEG272TBL Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar – Royal Blue Flame

The SEG272TBL pairs the warm, open voice of a semi-hollow body with a comfortable short-scale neck and dependable nickel hardware. Under the Royal Blue gloss is a flame maple veneer, and 5-ply cream binding frames the body.

Why it plays well

• 628 mm (24.75") scale: Lower string tension than a 25.5" guitar, so bends and vibrato take less effort and chords feel looser under the fingers.
• Slim-taper D neck, 21 mm at the 1st fret to 22 mm at the 12th: A slim profile that fills out only slightly up the neck, so it suits smaller hands and fast lead playing.
• 12" fingerboard radius: Flat enough to bend notes without choking out, rounded enough for comfortable open chords.
• 22 medium jumbo frets: Give you easier grip for bends and vibrato without feeling tall or "scalloped."
• Purpleheart fingerboard: A dense, hard hardwood with split-block inlays.
• Maple set neck: Glued in rather than bolted on, for a smooth heel and a solid neck-to-body joint.

How it sounds

The basswood semi-hollow body with F-holes adds air and natural resonance to the sound. It has warm lows, clear mids, and good sustain. A semi-hollow handles volume and gain far better than a fully hollow archtop, so it works on stage as well as at home.

Two covered P-3002 humbuckers are wired with 2 volume, 2 tone, and a 3-way selector:

• Neck: Round and full, suited to jazz, blues leads, and clean chords
• Both: Balanced and open, a natural fit for indie, worship, and rhythm parts
• Bridge: Focused and punchy for classic rock and driven tones

Independent volume and tone for each pickup let you set two distinct sounds and switch between them.
