I've rated this 12-string as 4 stars, not because it's one of the world's great guitars (it's not!), but mainly because it represent decent value. ..... THE POSITIVES: Finish was surprisingly good — no significant flaws or blemishes. Action as delivered was okay, although it needed lowering slightly. The supplied gig bag was adequate, but very basic, and I quickly substituted a decent well-padded one. The pickups would probably merit an upgrade at some point, but nevertheless they surprised me with a reasonable sound. ..... THE NEGATIVES: In a word, INTONATION. Of course, intonation is always a potential challenge with any 12-string, but this is greatly complicated in the case of the Haze by its having only a 6-saddle bridge rather than a 12-saddle. That means each string pair must be adjusted together, which results in challenges when (as was the case with this guitar) one string of a pair is too sharp, and the other too flat. (And that was an issue with multiple string pairs.) No matter which way you adjust the bridge to correct one string, you're making the other worse, so you end up having to compromise to get the "least bad" result. ..... For that reason, I've decided against using this guitar for gigs, and have instead opted for a much more expensive 12-string with a 12-saddle bridge. Still, the Haze is an adequate practice guitar, and I'm using it for that. Overall, worth what you're paying, but don't expect pro quality at this price.

The craftmen and women should rightly be called "Instrument makers". Intonation is good straight out of the box. Two improvement for the guitar supplied, the top corner of the nut is square instead of rolled and the clear coat has faint contamination craters, you have to really look for them. Most people wouldn't see them. Been playing 55yrs.

This is the 3rd time I've been asked to give feedback on this purchase, prob an eBay thing. The guitar is great just like the other 2 haze guitars I've bought. Sounds and plays great and rocked up real quick. I highly recommend HAZE instruments, especially considering how little you pay for what you get!
