Kookaburra Music Tree is an Australian brand that has been making waves in the music community for the past 20 years. We began our journey from our warehouse in Girraween and proudly opened a showroom in Newtown in February 2022.
Our mission is to create high-quality, budget-friendly guitars because we believe that making music should be accessible to everyone—not just those who can afford to spend over $2,000 on a big-name instrument. While we may not compete with big brands in terms of prestige, we take great pride in offering instruments that stand out in their price range.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we do! Shipping times and costs vary based on the couriers we use.
Q: Do you ship nationally?
A: Absolutely! We offer free shipping across Australia. For the best experience, we recommend purchasing through our website.

Q: Do you make custom guitars?
A: Unfortunately, we don’t offer custom guitar services. However, we do stock a wide range of DIY kits that are easy to assemble with no soldering required. These kits are paint-ready, perfect for adding your own unique artistic touch.
Q: Do you offer artist deals?
A: Yes, we’re excited to provide a 15% discount to performing artists interested in using our instruments. We love to showcase performance photos of you with our guitars on our website and social media. Additionally, we’re launching a project to collaborate with local artists for demoing our guitars and pedals, either for a fee or through complimentary products.

A: We currently have two locations:

Open Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday, 10 AM - 1 PM -
Haze Guitars Newtown: 26 King Street, Newtown
Open Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3 PM
Q: Do you supply non-Haze guitars?
A: Yes! We offer a variety of instruments from brands like Caraya, Klema, Mentreel, Rosen, and KOLOSS.
