I wanted a small light instrument to practice finger rolls while sitting down watching tv..
I have owned a five string resonator banjo that I have picked up now and again over 20 years and found the weight of 3kg+ a bit of a turn off for casual practice. I also play guitar and mandolin so I generally revert to playing them rather than the banjo due to the above.The small traveller banjo has made practicing much more enjoyable.The instrument itself has been worked on by myself to improve the action ,sound and general playability but these were quite simple tweeks easily accessed on line.

Very good value for money. A robust and compact instrument which plays well enough for what I wanted it for, which was to revive my banjo playing after a long break. No real problems as I also play guitar, bass and uke.
My main requirement was to use it to do some folk music and sea shanties and that is fine.
